You will get wet on this ride! You'll also make great friends, have fun, meet new people, and have fun (did we say that already?).


Stouffer's traditional, Stouffer Outdoors, will be Monday, August 21st leaving at 9:15am and returning no later than 5pm, although participants will need to move in on Sunday, August 20th in order to attend an orientation meeting that evening and to be ready for an early departure on Monday morning. First-year students are highly encouraged to attend and will be back to campus in plenty of time for all of the NSO activities.

Stouffer Outdoors will include a lunch meal, opportunity for canoeing, and a chance to get to know your neighbors better. *Breakfast will be grab-n-go style and dinner will be at the dining commons. While the House is subsidizing a great deal of the cost of the experience, we are asking that each student who attends pay a $110 fee in order to reserve a place and help cover the costs. If the fee would cause too much of a financial burden for you, please contact stouffer@collegehouses.upenn.edu about the possibility of removing this barrier to participation.

Checks can be made payable to the Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania. Bring with you to move-in.

$110 cash payment can be brought with you to move-in on August 20th (There is an ATM at the WAWA across the street. There is no surcharge fee to use the ATM)

The House Director will collect payments upon your arrival on August 20th.
