Come for our second Tuesday's Interesting Person with Elaine Papas-Varas, Penn's Financial Aid Director. She oversees the administration of Title IV and Penn’s student financial aid programs amounting to nearly $500 million annually, of which more than $200 million is dedicated to grants for undergraduate students.  Yes, she is going to answer questions, and yes,YOUR questions, like why did my work-study grant all of a sudden decrease?  Why? Papas-Varas states, "her foremost responsibilities as director of financial aid are to make sure students are served, the office is transparent and compliant, and students get the information they need in a timely fashion."
